COVID-19

In accordance with provincial guidelines Joint Movement will be implementing the following procedures to ensure the well being of our clients and community:

• All clients will be pre-screened on the phone 24-hours prior to their appointment. On the day of their appointment upon entry into the clinic all patients will be asked to complete a Covid-19 screening questionnaire once again. Only patients who pass will further proceed with their session.
• Upon arrival and before entering the clinic please use the hand sanitizer. Please sanitize prior to leaving the clinic as well.
• Please bring and wear a mask, if you do not have a mask, one will be provided. Please remove footwear prior to entering the clinic as well.
• Please try to minimize the number of belongings you bring into the clinic (ie. jackets, bags/purses and water bottles)
• We request all intake forms to be downloaded from our website, completed and emailed back to us before to your first appointment. This will allow us to promote contactless transformation of essential information. Currently, we are also requesting contactless payment such as tapping your credit card or e-transfer.

Assessments and treatments are one-on-one, 15 minutes are allocated between appointments to minimize contact with others and implement effective infection control procedures.

Alongside our usual infection control routines that include strict hand washing/sanitizing, cleaning and disinfecting treatment beds and all equipment after every use, we are also disinfecting surfaces such as door handles and light switches between appointments.

Joint Movement will strictly be using cleaners and disinfectants that are approved by Health Canada and shown to be effective against Covid-19.

Joint Movement is a boutique clinic and thus it is possible to effectively minimize traffic within the clinic, implement social distancing protocols and ensure all cleaning protocols are followed.
